Things are starting to finally get in order. I bought a bike, I bought a DSLR camera, and have been tracking flights to the US. I mostly have a solid plan in my head at this point.
I had to install a kitchen at my apartment. I'd been living with just a sink and a stove for the last 4 months (Hello, 10€/month electric bills). I've been living as frugal as possible to see if I could do it to prepare for the 4 month ride. Easy as pie. But I'll have someone living in my apartment and taking care of my cat while I'm away. The heartache of being away from the cat so long is the only thing I'm not looking forward to.
4 more weeks until Iceland and 6 more until the US. Hooray!
